As a result of the ongoing situation with Covid-19, Hermes have advised us to extend delivery lead times to between 3-5 working days (excluding locations deemed to be remote, which will take even longer to arrive) .
In Normal Circumstances:
Posting / shipping: We use economy courier services ( currently Hermes ) which generally delivers in up to 3 working days to mainland Britain and Northern Ireland (excluding areas deemed remote such as the Highlands and any island ).
Please contact us first if you wish to place multiple orders that exceed a weight load of 30kg.
***All mainland Britain orders placed by 3PM will generally be despatched the following working day (Monday -Thursday). However, orders placed outside these times (or during bank holidays) will generally be despatched in 2 working days ***
If no one is home, Hermes will leave your parcel in a safe place (if the courier deems one available) or with a neighbour and should leave a card advising you. If this is not possible, the parcel will be returned to the delivery depot. 3 attempts are made to deliver. If the parcel is undelivered, it will be returned to us at a cost of £4. This cost will be requested from you.
Note from courier: "Collection and delivery are not guaranteed but currently enjoy a 96% success rate." NB Deliveries can be any time of day from about 8am to 8pm, Mon - Sat. Please contact first if this is likely to be a problem.
If you have any instructions to assist with delivery, please provide them at the time of booking - it is too late once your order has been despatched.
N.B. IF YOU LIVE IN THE HIGHLANDS, ANY ISLAND OR NORTHERN IRELAND, PLEASE CONTACT US FIRST BEFORE BOOKING, AS DELIVERIES CAN BE SUBJECT TO A SURCHARGE & MAY TAKE LONGER TO ARRIVE.
We only ever pack items that are completely undamaged. Prior to sealing, each box is photographed with the buyer's postcode. Therefore in the unlikely event that you should receive any damaged items, we would ask for your cooperation by sending photos of the damaged items plus the packaging, which we can then forward to the courier company for any subsequent claim.
