Pack of 20 15-Cell Deep Seed Tray Inserts – Large Plug Plant Propagation Strips

Our pack of 20 15-cell seed tray inserts features larger, deeper compartments specifically designed for plants that require extra root room and hate root disturbance. Proudly sized to fit flawlessly inside British Standard seed trays and gravel trays, these recycled plastic inserts are perfect for autumn sweet peas, broad beans, and deep-rooted vegetable plugs.

Please Note – Lightweight Design:

These inserts are designed as lightweight, single-use propagation items to allow you to gently squeeze the base and remove plants cleanly without damaging delicate root systems. (If you are looking for a heavy-duty, ultra-rigid alternative that can be washed and reused season after season, please consider our robust Bedding Packs instead!)

Why these large 15-cell deep inserts are perfect for autumn gardeners:

• Deep Root Development: At 60mm deep, these provide the essential extra soil volume needed for deep-rooting autumn crops like peas, beans, and winter salads.

• Reduced Transplant Shock: Because each plant grows in its own generous 62mm x 71mm cell, they retain their full, undisturbed root system when it's time to transplant or plant out.

• Perfect British Standard Fit: Sized exactly to sit comfortably inside standard 344mm x 214mm x 52mm seed trays or watertight gravel trays.

• Recycled Eco-Friendly Plastic: Made from sustainably recycled plastic, making them an eco-friendly choice for your greenhouse or allotment.
